The Total Gym Diet
If you are doing an exercise regimine with a total gym, you need to know that you can actually compound your results greatly by including a diet plan as well. However, there are a few things to take into consideration when you are thinking about incorporating a better iet into your exercise.
First, you need enough calories. Most people won’t tell you this, but drastically cutting calories is the easiest way to ensure failure on a diet. So, don’t cut calories by too much. If you are exercising you need the energy.
Second, victory on any diet is about longjevity. Longjevity is key if you want to be able to really get the results you want to achieve. You see, most people gain weight over a period of years and then expect it all to fall off in as little as six weeks. That just isn’t sensible.
Instead, design your weight loss plan around the idea of sticking with it for a year. That way you make small improvements that you can sustain over a long period of time instead of big changes that fizzle out quickly.
Third, don’t overtrain on exercise. How you train and work out has dramatic implications on how well you can stick to your diet. Most people are inclined to train extremely hard so that they can get to the goal line quicker. This just makes your body freak out and demand more food, which leads to weight gain, not loss. Again, the key here is that working out less is actually better for most people.
Last, it doesn’t matter what diet you choose, it matters what diet you keep. There are literally hundreds of good ways to lose weight based on your diet. Thus, instead of looking for the “perfect diet” that everybody loses weight on, find the one that works for your.
